Three core areas should be considered while choosing a fabric for landscaping.

Fabric should be able to breath, allow oxygen and required nutrients through it, and provide air and water to the soil in order to make the plants look healthy and long lasting so that they can sustain for a longer period. Average landscaping fabrics are distinguished by super quality fabrics due to this characteristic. Plastic sheets have failed to serve the purpose of deterring weeds. Although it doesn’t let weeds grow but it’s impossible for air and water to flow through it. Poor permeable fabrics may allow so much of water that the water may wash away everything present on surface of fabric like coverings or bark.
